Is it normal that i think the us and canada should unite into one country?

I know this sounds a bit weird, but I actually think that Canada and the US should unite into a single country. Just imagine how powerful it would be. No, I'm neither America nor Canadian, so I don't know how people there think about this idea. Oh, and while you're at it, try to take Greenland too.

    I don't see any advantage for either country for that to happen...

    No way in the current political environment would the Canadian people agree to even discuss the option (much less approve it).

    I dont see how it would benefit both countries. Except maybe lumber would be cheaper since canada screws the US on lumber at the moment.

      Would the Queen take up rule in America? That would defeat the entire point of the musical Hamilton. It would make “You’ll be back” age spectacularly though.
