Is it normal that i think that prostitution should be legalized in most countries?

As long as it's taxed and the people are doing their due diligence with STD testing and other safety measures, I really don't see an issue at all.

By safety measures, the first thing that comes to mind is definitely STD testing. People are fucking idiots and can't tell the difference between HSV and HPV. Don't even get me started on the difference between HSV1 and HSV2. And HPV? Good God, far too many different variations and different effects to even count.

Furthermore, cameras/audio should probably be present in each "room", if not an actual body guard. Most people can basically be trusted I think, but there's far too many people who simply can't be trusted. Catch my drift?

And of course it should all be taxed! Sounds like a nice way to feed more money into a country in my book. Any thoughts?

    I think the better option is to just decriminalize it.

    But, make it illegible for anyone to manage people and make income from that (pimps/madams).

      Btw, I agree wholeheartedly that it should be totally illegal for anyone except the prostitute in question to make any financial gain from selling their body for sex.

    Yeah definitely, it's a stupid law. There isn't one good logical reason anyone can come up with as to why it should be illegal (well they might say because it's disgusting and immoral, but they wouldn't be able to come up with any good reason why they think that). People should have the right to do whatever they want with their own bodies. Even the people against the idea should be pissed off that a bunch of politicians are commanding what they can and can't do with their own bodies. It's against the very idea of bodily liberty and even capitalism.

    I think it should have been done long ago. Many countries have legalized it with no unhealthful consequences.

    I agree with pretty much everything you just said.

    Personally, I am a woman. I am also a human being, the same as you. I am not without any "ego" at all...a part of me likes being on a "pedestal". Again, I am only human.

    I guess what I'm trying to get at is that we are the same. If men get to make less a "tit" of themselves, perhaps us women get to make less "hoe's" of our own selves simply by doing what uh, "they" want.

    This shit ain't for me, btw. Lemme make that clear. ;)

    I do believe that it's called equality, don't you?
