Is it normal that i think parmesan cheese looks like cocaine?

Whenever I see parmesan cheese, I always thought it looks as white as cocaine, who knows maybe one day I'll high on parmesan cheese.

Snort a line of it. It's real Gouda! Sorry, that was really cheesy.

I actually had to think about that pun for a moment. I knew it should work, but I couldn't figure out why it didn't.

Then I realised it's due to me being used to my Dutch wife pronouncing Gouda as Dutch people do. To my ears, it sounds like: [throat-clearing-sound]owda.

You're right about the pronunciation. If you used the correct pronunciation in America very few people would know what you were talking about. It was a really bad pun anyway but that's never stopped me before.

That parmesan also contains some sawdust. Prevents the cheese from sticking together.

It's cellulose, an anti clumping agent.

Yeah, can't believe that people would think that would even be a possibility with todays food standards and hygiene.

I mean...America's standards are...really...really low. But misinformation doesn't help anyone.
