Is it normal that i think my boyfriend's father is using him?

My boyfriend's parents live 5 hours away, and he visits them every public holiday/long weekend, which roughly works out to once a month. I think this is great, he is a caring, loving guy. However, what concerns me, is that whenever he goes there, he does labour intensive work. His dad doesn't make him do all the work by himself, but instead they do the work together. Again, I think it's great that he helps his dad, however, he works so hard during the week in his regular job that pays, I don't understand why he can't go there just to relax... Another thing is, his brother has a job that alows him to work from home, so when they are both at their parents' place, the brother always has "work to do" from his laptop, and never helps my boyfriend and their dad. I don't want to say anything or interfere, but it just annoys me, that's all.

Am I normal?

    It's probably just the kind of relationship they have, the way they bond . If your bf doesn't complain I wouldn't worry about it.

    Was similar with my ex. I got upset because I saw how it was draining for him (Turned out he was only acting a bit different cuz he thought about dumping me, lol)

    But I still say, if you feel as if your boyfriend have the energy to do it and seems to enjoy himself-don't bother with it if it isn't affecting your relationship.

    See, this is exactly the kind of thing where a woman/girl should not interfere with. To you it seems like LABOUR INTENSIVE RAWWWWWWWR, but to guys it's more like a bonding experience.
