Is it normal that i think most ultra-religious people are hypocrites?
In my observation, most of these "we're so pure" holier-than-thou religious folks don't meet the standards that they're pushing on others. It's all a facade and a lie.
Take the Duggars, for instance. They have a bunch of rules, especially concerning sex, but their oldest son, Josh, molested his own sisters and was caught with an account on Ashley Madison, a websites for affairs.
Not to mention all of the molestation in the sexually repressed Catholic churches, where they say you're not even supposed to masturbate.
I'm a Christian, but I have no interest in hypocrites who just say and command things because they like the way it sounds coming out of their lying mouths.
I've also noticed that they love to cherry pick. Whichever verses suit their needs for whatever they want to judge you for today, that what they're going to quote, even if they have to twist the scriptures a little.
They want control and power over people.
Bring up something from the Bible disagreeing with them, and "Oh, that's not REALLY what that means."
This applies to Muslims and all other religions that I know of, too.
