Is it normal that i think killing an insect is the same as killing a human?

I think that killing an insect is equally as bad as killing a human and anyone that could could kill a spider or a fly could kill a human with the same ease, if there was no fear of repercussions such as going to prison. It’s natural for animals (including humans) to kill and the only reason we don’t go around killing each other is because we’re conditioned to believe it’s wrong. Humans naturally have no concept of morality.

Some humans do go around killing each other. I always put spiders outside and if I accidentally kill an insect the guilt is there for days (unless it was a wasp, they are pure evil and all should die).

Bees only hurt you if you hurt them, but WASPS GIVE NO MERCY AND WILL BURN YOU UNTIL YOU WISH YOU WERE NEVER BORN! I'm allergic to wasps.

It is blatantly untrue that fear of repercussion is the only reason that humans don't kill each other, although it is still a reason. Stable humans are well aware of a little word called empathy, which can be shared between humans, and between humans and animals with a higher cranial capacity where empathy can still exist between them. Insects don't have the ability to feel or to experience awareness, and empathy exchange between us and them is nonexistent.

    • I think a lot less people feel a lot less empathy than they make out. You’d be surprised what most people are capable of.

Nobody cares about killing insects, you don't go to prison for killing insects. Humans, you'll obviously go to prison. Dogs, cats, and domesticated animals, yes you would be in a lot of trouble for animal cruelty. Farm animals, as long as they're stunned unconscious before they're slaughtered, no one will get in trouble. Insects, nobody gives a flying sucking assfuck, otherwise exterminators and pest control companies would be legally banned and anyone who owned them and worked for them would be prosecuted.

So you don't even slap a mosquito?
Bugs do not care about you, nor do they have the capacity to.
If my house were to be infested with roaches, bed bugs, centipedes, ect.
    Kill em all.
Roaches crawl on you while you sleep and eat your skin, hair and fingernails.
Bugs even eat their young if no other food source is available.
So I don't feel much except maybe I little sting when I kill a bug.

I do have respect though, if it's outside and isn't bothering me or fam. it's fine.

  • Insects can't even feel pain like humans and other animals, so that's already a fundamental error in your thinking.

In my view most people don’t care that much about killing insects because they are not looked at as having sentient life. Like people have or cats and dogs extra

Well in Buddhism, all life is equal. I don't think that's what you were getting at, though. I only kill bugs in they're a danger to me or trying to feed on me. I'll kill anything that tries to eat me, people included. If someone breaks in, I'd have no problem killing them. But I wouldn't kill something for no reason, bug or person.

I have something to tell you. Insects and other categories of bugs are only here for one purpose. To make the plant life on earth better. But then you may think 'But then you are killing all plant life! All of humanity!' But think. For every human, there are, say 200 more bugs. Oh sorry, 200 million bugs. Now you do the math. So 7,600,000,000 * 200,000,000 = 1,520,000,000,000,000,000. Now if we convert that to something a measly human like you can understand, that would be approximately one quintrillion, five hundred and twenty quadrillion. Or you could say more than you think. I personally wouldn't mind a few million gone. Also, bugs, no matter what type, don't have nervous system like the human, much less, thoughts or feelings. The only thing that circulates in their brains are eat, fly/crawl, don't get eaten. So what if a few hundred die? They will be replaced within a few minutes. Personally, I think that bugs are overpopulating earth. We are the dominant species! We have the higher ground. So what I'm saying is, just don't worry about it. But then again, you have no right to kill it in it's natural habitat. But if it's in your own house, LEAVE IT NO MERCY AND BURN IT UNTIL IT REGRETS BEING BORN!!!!! Thank you, that's all!

  • "Killing humans is the same as killing insects". Then why do you have two different words with different meanings if it's the same thing?

Ah yes, I almost forgot. Weed is no issue but I have no blotter acid. I have shrooms though, will you take those? What about a home cooked meal?
    I'm a great cook.

True, I could kill insects with ease ever since I was a child. Now as an adult, I have no problem killing humans. No guilt or anything. :)

That's like aliens visiting earth. They may be so far advanced they may look on us as just another infestation.

Killing bugs can be necessary at times. Bloodsuckers like mosquitos and fleas don't have my sympathy.

well, i have always told the opponents of the death penalty that its the most effective deterrent to murder we have. its kept me from killing everybody. so, democrats , when your power goes off and the cops receded into the darkness , im going to be looking for a little payback for the lifetime of shit you been spewing. maybe you can evolve into a spider and escape who knows. And its not just me, oh no. its every republican gun owning guy on the block. we are all just waiting for the same moment. you all better wish trump some luck disarming north korea because if he cracks off an H-bomb over the Mid USA , he isn't the boogie man you will fear. And you all made it so easy too with those funky hair cuts and tattoos.

Every study as shown that the death penalty isn’t a deterrent. Not to mention if you are for the death penalty you are for killing innocent people cause we do that 4% of the time. those are facts. go blow your daddy trump and his useless endless wars

Your interesting viewpoint does kind of raise an unrelated issue, which is which is better, the gun or the penis? Could you share your views on the issue; tattoos and shaved heads not withstanding.
