Is it normal that i think i should replace all the deputies in my country?

I live in a developing country which is now sailing in a sea of economic prosperity and all. Of course the huge social inequality subsists here, even though the poor experience better conditions now. But the people in my country are still as ignorant, uneducated, poor-tasted, alienated and manipulable as ever. I live in a very backward land, with very poor scores in the UN Education Index and very few universities reaching a place in the top 200 worldwide. The corruption is so widespread and rooted in our politics that nowadays most people are simply bored to the bones when they hear or read about a new scandal.
Our deputies are the worst of the worst, in my opinion. When they're not fascist bigots, they're corrupted fellows of the lowest, most ignoble kind. I despise them so much, I hate them so much, that I feel deep in my heart that if I could be the only one deputy of this country things would be much better. Perhaps a handful of friends of mine should be deputies too, 5 deputies instead of over 500. We would do a better job. We would promulgate more civilized laws. We would draw this country out from the dark ages.
They say that 25 Icelandic common citizens have changed the whole political and economic course of their nation this month, why can't I live in a place like that?
So that's it, I dream of being a kind of enlightened despot with my friends. Is it normal?

So you are saying people in certien positions are doing a bad job and you want different people? Well yes I think that is normal. I am disgusted with how my own countries government is being ran. It is insanely large and very inefficient. Government funded programs is one thing but I think the amount of people currently in it way to big. The system is already crashing. I think it needs to collapse so we can rebuild it. Everything is so massive its collapsing within itself.

Wanting different people up there isn't enough here, I fear. Things are so deeply rotten, it's an institutional problem. What I really want is ME up there on their places, but since that isn't possible, I think we should at leats make a humanist lobby, put literate people there would be a good starting point.

Well if the system is broke I understand why you might want to reform it. If you mean the education system you can but you have to first get your degree in education and slowly work up so it might take you awhile. If we speak of government you could try out at age 18 to my knowledge. If you mean police force cant you just try out? Where I live anyone can be one you just have to pass a few tests, be in shape, and have a diploma from high school/college(as called in UK)

Do you mean, the movement in Iceland? But I bet it's much harder here, where a fanatic can release all his lunacies on the Chamber, even kicking out those who manifest against him, because fuck democracy and constitutional rights!
