Is it normal that i think i am not ready for a relationship?

I am 21 years old and I have never had a girlfriend. It's not like girls don't like me. There are a lot of people I know who are just waiting for me to ask them out (some of them have tried asking me out) but I never ask a girl out even if I really like someone. I avoid being in a relationship because I think my partner will easily get tired of me. I am not much of a romantic guy. Is it normal to want a romantic relationship but feel like I am not ready yet.

    I believe it's one of those things (like having children) where there is never a perfect time.
    Chances are you will never have your shit so in order that you feel 100% ready.
    I wanted to do the same & sort out all my issues before i settled down but the right girl came along before i did.
    If I'd waited i would have missed out on something amazing.
    Now we can face those issues together

    You could go out with someone you like to enjoy her company without it automatically becoming a relationship. Stop worrying so much about where it will lead and enjoy the moment

    I know the feeling, and I don't think it's that uncommon to feel that way. But it doesn't hurt to at least contact someone you're interested in, just to see what goes.
