If you're a billionaire and don't donate atleast 10% of your current wealth to charities every year, you're an asshole, plain and simple.

    The problem with taxing the rich is that I don't think the government is very responsible using said taxes to fund shit. They spend it on useless shit.

      Yeah that's true. However, donating to charities is a completely different thing.

        My guess is they'd go the route of Bezo's ex-wife and give it to people that actually need it. I'll bet she's got a kick-ass wardrobe though.

    Idk if its 10% but they often do donate a shit ton. You also gotta think all the stuff they buy goes back into the economy. They pay millions a year just for lawn work at their mansions. They also put a lot of the money in stocks which helps other companies which helps those companies hire more workers. Billionaires also employ a lot of people and often make more millionaires.

    Not really trying to defend billionaires, I'm definitely not one but they do contribute a lot more to the world than just some average person.
