Is it normal that i tear up when i eat fast food and drink soda (pepsi/coke)?

It may sound weird. But Whenever I eat food and I don't chew it up (too) much and swallow it, then I drink like Coke or any other Soda right after I get a small tear?

The large pieces of unchewed food being forced down the throat and the carbonation in the soda is what makes you tear up.

You do have teeth right? The worst thing I swallowed without chewing is potato chips. It happens to me like one or twice every year and it hurts. Be careful when you're eating potato chips.

I noticed myself tearing up a few years ago when I ate any hot/warm food or alcohol. I have some blood vessel issues sort of related to rosacea. Basically some foods make the blood vessels in your face and eyes dilate. It doesn't happen all the time but sometimes and its annoying.
