Is it normal that i still think about my ex even though it has been 11 years?

We started dating senior year of high school and were together for about three years. We took each others virginity. I loved her so incredibly much. When she first broke up with me, I thought I was going to die and could not stop thinking about her. Now, 11 years later, I think about her considerably less, however she pops into my head about once a day. I have not been in a serious relationship since. Anyways, is it normal or abnormal that I still think about her?

It's normal to think about someone that meant a lot to you. Maybe give her a call and see how she's doing, it's nice every once in awhile to talk to someone you once loved.

Try to find another girl though that makes you happy.

It's been nearly 10 years for me, and I still think about him at least once a week, despite being in a relationship (with that said, I wouldn't want to date/marry the ex because there were legitimate reasons why it didn't work out). I don't think you ever truly forget your first love.

I think this is slightly normal. Do you know what happened to her? i can't help but think, maybe if you met up with her and foumd some closure, you might be able tolet your love die for her. Plus maybe shegot really fat and had 5 kids, surely that would clear it up XD

She is now married. And she looks as incredible now as she did when we were together.

As far as letting my love for her to die, I guess I am not really sure what that means. I realize that even though we had something great and I was totally head-over-heels in love with her then, she needed to move on. It hurts like hell to realize that but I am glad that she found her own happiness even though that did not include me.
