If you go to university, the best one you can get into, it will pay dividends in the long run. Take the required classes and join many student groups. Talk to the faculty (something you can do freely at the university level) to find out more possibilities. Universities have so many different career paths you may have never even known about that you are quite likely to find your major this way. If cost is an issue, there's always public universities. There are many cheap and excellent choices.

It's very normal, but if you are unsure, I'd suggest going to community college first. It's far cheaper and you'll have more freedom to explore opportunities. Also, while 3.0 isn't bad, it could certainly be better. You can use this opportunity to raise your grades.
