Is it normal that i started crying all of a sudden (during period)?

Ok so I got my period last night. This morning, I was in the bathroom and I got up from the toilet after I finished peeing. It was after I got up that I started crying all of a sudden. I immeadiately wondered why I felt the sudden urge to have a meltdown, but then I thought about it and said hey I do have my freaking period so that must be it. It had been such a lomg time since this happened, so Im basically being reintroduced into being normal again lol. As a bonus, I will also add that I started laughing hysterically while listening to maroon 5, but Im not sure if it has anything to do with my period stuff.

    I had a bowl of cereal with milk the other night at 2 AM and I've never had a period in my life.

    you can blame fluctuations in hormones if you want but the swings in hormone in the male is ten times greater and 50 times a day. So go ahead blame those hormones but i will always know its a cop out excuse. I would try to find out why i was crying , you know , the real reason. same advice id give to a man,
