Is it normal that i saw more pregnant girls in high school than i do in college

I went to a fairly small High School (graduating class of 330) and about 5 girls each year got pregnant each year.
Now, I'm in college, only an hour away from home, and I have not seen a single pregnant girl in any of my classes.
I HAVE seen a handful of mothers, but these women are in their 30's and are at school to further their education.
Is that normal?
I think there might be a connection that most girls that go to college take all measures to make sure they don't get pregnant, which High School girls are slightly less responsible.
What do you guys think?

    High school weeds out the ones that get knocked up and so they do not go to college. Those that realize the importance of birth control are in college.

    Society and bad parenting have turned many young girls into tramps and sluts. It's a sad sad sign of the times.

    The answer is this. Those pregnant chicks never went to college. The ones you see in college are the smart girls that behaved, got an education, cared about their future and were not idiots and whores. If you have a graduating class of 1000 and 700 made it to last year, and 500 of those got pregnant or someone pregnant you are probably going to only see the 200 smart kids in college.

      However this does not bring into account those who were raped but I don't believe a high percentage of pregnant teens are pregnant do to rape.

      Most of the pregnant teens I have met at that age when I was going to school were 1. skanks that were proud of being so and only inspired to be hookers when they grew up 2.Not very bright and assumed sleeping with a man meant he would stay with you forever 3.Didn't think protection was a big deal and OOPS a bun in the oven.

      So every-time I have seen this its due to idiocy. Not all teens are responsible or intelligent enough to not have a baby at 14,15,16. Or get a chick pregnant.

    I'll probably sound horrible for saying it, but people in college usually want to make something of themselves.
    Where the pregnent girls in highschool don't, they believe that once highschool finishes, they will do just fine living out their life being a proud mum (at least the ones I met are like that).
