Is it normal that i rub my feet together when i'm about to fall asleep?

When I close my eyes to go to sleep, I always rub my feet against each other, today, I was thinking maybe it was to warm them, but it wasn't. My friends always ask me why I do it, and I always say i dont know. But, now I think it's because I'm trying to calm myself? maybe? well, what i want to know is do ya'll think it's normal and do ya'll do it??

I do this all the time! So does my husband. I never thought of it as not normal. :)

I sometimes do it too. It's comforting.

I just realized I was rubbing my feet together as I read your post. Lol. I guess it relaxes me while I am trying to go to sleep.

I do that, pisses the wife off but I can't sleep unless I do it, then straight after I gotta hang my feet off the end of the bed.

No, but I always put lotion on my hands and feet before I go to bed. It comforts me. Maybe it's similar.

Seems normal to me. My daughter has done it since she was an infant. I can still calm her down by rubbing her feet.

It may be a habit since you were a baby. It started out as a way to get warm but eventually just turned to a habit.

You're removing all the crumbs from the bottom of your feet, instinctively. Fascinating.
