You come across as overly empathetic to such a degree that you throw your own wants/needs out the window. It's good to consider the feelings of others, that said, it's not selfish to be with someone. Perhaps you should try offering yourself the same courtesy you seem to with others.

I like that you're that considerate. Don't listen to all those people saying you're too sensitive, the world needs peeps like us.
