For a while now I have had a weird crush on my boyfriends dad. It started off as a simple crush, only thinking about him now and then. It changed a lot over these past months and I've done some crazy things. I laid on his bed a couple times just feeling the blankets he sleeps with, I stole a pair of his boxers when I was really high. I make sex eyes at him every time we're in the same room. I can't even help it. It's just a reflex. I feel really guilty cause he comes into my mind when I'm touching myself. I know it's a little messed up but the second he walks into the room i get butterflies and also turned on. I'm not sure what to do.

    People will recreate trauma of the past to try and master it. The problem is that they just fall into the same pits and end up in a vicious cycle. If older men is your thing I would guess that you were sexually abused by an adult when you were a child.

    If not that then you are subconciously trying to sabotage your relationship with your bf because your family of origin (parents) didn't show you how to have a healthy relationship. Maybe there was a lot of fighting or harsh punishments or verbal/emotional abuse.

    You didn't really give a lot of info so its hard to tell....but let me know how I did.

    It's usually okay to have a crush while in a relationship as long as you don't act on it. Though lying on his bed, stealing his underwear, and purposefully giving him seductive looks is just too much. If you care about your boyfriend, you need to distance yourself from his father until your feelings pass.
