Is it normal that i prefer a small penis?

Bigger penises hurt me, whereas smaller ones tend to make me orgasm easier... Also they can fit all the way in whereas with a bigger penis, the guy ends up not giving me enough pleasure. With a smaller penis, we are allowed more intimate contact with each other. I seriously never knew why guys always compete with each other over penis size and it seems to me that they don't consider whether it gives the woman pleasure it's so that they don't feel insecure. My question is, do most girls really prefer a bigger penis, because large ones are painful for me (by large I mean about 6-8 in) and the guy I'm with now is just under 6 inches and he doesn't hurt at all. Is it normal?
