Is it normal that i only have bad romantic fantasies?

I love to daydream and write stories including romantic ones. However, none of my dreams or stories have a happy ever after. They're always sad. My characters are either constantly rejected, dumped in the cruelest of ways, or being used. I also have the "pity" and "I don't want to hurt you so I'll say yes" scenarios. Often cry after thinking of these things. Yet when I try to write a happy story, it feels so fake to me.
