Is it normal that i often don't get clues from girls until it's too late?

It has happened to me about four or five times, that a girl was pretty obvious in her clues about the fact she wanted to be with me, and I just did NOT get their (pretty obvious) clues, until it was too late.

It makes me feel like a complete moron, and also kinda depressed, thinking about what COULD have (and should have) been. Sure, I'm not a genius, but I DO regard myself as a pretty intelligent person, so how the fuck is this possible?

I've once heard on the dr. Phil show that guys often not getting clues from girls is a common phenomenon, but I'm not sure. What do you think?

Either way, it's frustrating as hell...

    I'm a girl and sometimes I don't pick up on the clues that guys give right away. Its normal. Just next time, if you really suspect that a girl is dropping clues, don't hesitate to drop some clues back, or maybe ask one of her friends if what you suspect is right.

    This happens to me all the time. And I never get laid. Like if a girl throws her drink in your face, that means "I'm all yours" right?

    Don't wait for clues. As the guy, you should be going after them, not waiting for them to come to you.

      Good point. Still, women CAN sometimes take the initiative too if they wanna, don't ya think?

        Of course she can! Certainly makes things much easier.

        But here's why I bring this up, as it relates to the original post.

        If you found out that she was giving you hints too late and you don't really like her, then it shouldn't matter much, right?

        If she's giving you hints and you DO like her, then it shouldn't even matter if you're getting hints or not, or you notice them, or whatever. You should be just going for it anyway.

    This happened to me before. But now actually the guy who never got the hint is my boyfriend. It's pretty weird how he never got what I was trying to say until one day I was like "so who do you like?" he told me to tell him first, which I never minded saying, I just told him and he said he liked me too, so far it been

    I am a girl and I have unfortunatelly done the same to somebody I actually cared about. I did that well that he ignores me every time when he sees me :(
