Is it normal that i never went to any of my father's chemo sessions?

I never once went to my dad's chemo sessions. Not sure why I didn't go either. There was only one time that I went to the doctor with him towards the end. I ended up excusing myself to go to the bathroom and got high and then punched the towel dispenser and left a dent like that scene in Breaking Bad. But I hadn't seen that show yet at the time that it happened. Ugh.

    When my wife was battling cancer, her doctors would tell me, "Go grab some lunch and let your wife relax." (as she was receiving treatment). "There's nothing you can do here." My wife's treatments lasted for hours. She would sit in a recliner, sleep and (or) watch TV. As long as your dad knew your thoughts were with him, I would not feel guilty.

      Yeah, when I saw that scene it really brought back haunting memories.
