      I've been in that fold for years and happy to be: it's the next best thing to having musical talent myself, which I do not have

        I have nothing against groupies. Some of my best memories are of good times spent with them.
        I'm just lucky that there were jobs with the band for us talentless male groupies, so I got the best of both worlds; lots of good music and a nice bit of coin, too.
