Is it normal that i miss my parents all the time?

so it wasnt like this before, but for past two years i,ve felt this...that whenever i,m out of the house i miss my parents. i think about them when i,m at my job or at school. most of the time i feel sorry for them, and think how they have gone through so many difficulties in their lives. so i buy things for them from time to time just to see them happy. from the moment i wake up to i go to sleep i think of them.
someone tell me why and do anyone else feel this way?

I think it's normal if you have really good parents. Also my parents are in their 70's so I'm keenly aware of their mortality so I try to make a point of telling them how much I love them as often as possible. I also try to hug and kiss them hello and goodbye whenever I see them.

As a matter of fact today is my dad's birthday, he's 78! He's wants a Shakira CD! I love my dad, Reese David, and I love his name, because if I had been a boy my name would have been Reese Francis.

Other than to say how nice it is to hear someone not bashing the shit out of their parent(s) on here, I really can't be of any help.
But thanks for the nice words about your parents, for a change.

I have become like this but I know the reasons. They are getting old and I'm their only daughter who still lives in this country. I feel responsible for them.
