Is it normal that i might like my best friend... as more than a best friend??

so i'm a girl and my best friend is a guy. i've known him for a few years, and got really close to him about a year ago. since then, we've hung out and talked frequently. i live a couple of blocks down from him and this whole school year (we are both in high school) he has driven me home for convenience. and every now and then he would just take me to his house and we would cuddle and kiss each other on the cheek or something. most of the time though, when at my driveway, we would sit for a while and cuddle or just talk. recently though, we have openly been cuddling and holding hands in the car. this has been going on for about six months, and my other friends already joke that we should go out and stuff. but awhile ago (four months) he told me he liked me. i think i liked him and wasn't particularly sure if i liked him back. since then, he has had a couple of girlfriends. now, he really likes another girl and i'm sort of jealous. i understand that he's a really great friend and i wouldn't want to ruin our friendship by telling him i might like him.

    Didn't read; wasn't interested in the story that is "always" being asked.

    Yes, it's normal, nobody really cares.

    Do you know how many times this story has been uploaded by other users? Atleast 20% of submissions ask this question, and it's getting tiresum.

    There is a search bar at the top of the page, on the left. Type in "IIN to like my friend as more than a friend?" and stop posting this stupid, obviously normal, question every two seconds. Ugh.

      Although I stopped putting effort into posting this for every story like this a little while ago. I was thinking about copy-pasting an answer, and a few times I got mean ("It's a good thing that you don't want kids, I don't know how you get by not being able to follow simple directions") so I had to quit.

    yes it's normal if that is how u truly feel about him and he said he likes u so stop hiding it and tell him u like him. so what if when he said it u didn't know how u felt u know now, if he doesn't feel the way u do now than his lose but u know he felt that way about u once. i hope it works out in the end.
