Is it normal that i mentally couldn't go inside for 7 hours?

I tried to ask while I was there but it wouldn't submit, so now I'm posting my actions from that night:

I'm steeling myself in the van and it's freezing cold, but I can't go in yet because I'm sick of the arguing, the slamming doors, and loud sex of the tenants here. I know I need to go in soon so I don't get sick, I'm working up my courage to just deal until my family and I can get tf out of dodge. It's been 3 hours. The sound of cars going by is calming. My phone battery is holding up well.

I will be so, so overjoyed when we leave. Also I didn't get sick.
