Is it normal that i made a fictional person and got a crush on her?

I created this girl, and now it's almost like she is a real person. I have a serious crush on her and consider her life more important than my own. What she feels, thinks, does, and has occupy my mind all day... is this normal or should I see a counselor?

          well, most of the ones i've seen (i might be wrong, because im new) are crushes on real characters (eg, harry potter, draco malfoy, josh from ityilybtihtky, fleur delacour, etc) my crush is more of an imaginary girlfriend type thing
