Is it normal that i'm glad junkfood still hurts fast metabolism people?

I've been working my ass off and it's paying off. That being said, I sometimes still get jealous of people who can eat what they want and then complain that they can't gain weight. Poor baby (not speaking to the people who are serious). I'm glad that junk food still hurts their insides so it's not completely unfair. Plus while I'm training for marathons and some of their metabolism gives out, I'm on the right track.

You don't know how it feels to be underweight. 3
Keep it up. 2
I agree, those who have to fight to be skinny are strong. 6
These same people wouldn't trade their condition for fatness. 4
I resent that. (Tell me why I'm wrong.) 2

The difference between a fast metabolism and a slow one is one pop-tart. It's not the reason people are fat. They simply eat too much. Keep up the good exercise, though keep in mind that weight loss is more about what you do in the kitchen than the gym.

brah that's bullshit, metabolism plays alot in whether it's harder or easier to lose weight. most of my family are overweight but we aren't big eaters, my sister is big and all she eats is one main meal a day and maybe one or two snacks later on. (mind you we rarely eat things such as chocolate or candy or fast food. that shit is practically banned in our house yet most of my family are overweight despite eating healthy and doing average exercise >>)

An easy way to prove me right or wrong is to count your calories for a day. Use a BMR calculator online to check how many calories someone of your height, weight and gender needs to maintain their current weight.

A large, obese man will need a ton of calories to stay obese. A small girl could eat half as much as him and still gain weight. Just a matter of calories in and calories out.

I can eat up to 5000 calories a day and never gain weight. The only way I gain is by working out.

Do you think it's mean that I stole snacks from my cousin's kitchen because I didn't want her to eat it and get fat?

    • Well you did it for her own good which I can't blame you for. But if you're having the hard times you claimed you were having, why would you throw out good food? Plus it'll be harder to break her habit than just throwing out junk. You could however introduce her to healthier options.

She doesn't live with me, I was visiting. And I do offer her healthy snacks sometimes. All the more reason to get rid of the bad snacks.

Fatties aren't really known for being very intelligent or mentally stable, so you sound pretty typical to me.
