Is it normal that i'm attracted/in love with an anime character?

So there's this anime show that I've started watching a few weeks ago (even though the series has been released so many years ago) and I developed a crush on a character. But not one of those fangirl little crushes on characters. I really do think I'm... in love? How is that possible? Like I'm always thinking about that character, I imagine living in na anime world and sharing my life with him? He even appears in my dreams and I watch the episodes that he's in over and over again and write little fanfictions and ugh I just think that there's something wrong with me? I don't even have crushes on humans anymore. Just that anime character.

    You know I think about this too... Im really attracted to an anime character. Even in love with him. And I tried not to watch that anime anymore but I miss him. All I can think about is him. I dont know is it normal, I cant answer that. But Im just telling you that you are not the only one.

    I like anime, what one is it?
    It's not normal OP. I don't feel like I need to explain this opinion. If I were you I would stop watching anything with that character in it, delete all their pictures from your phone. Eventually you'll forget about him/her.

      it's death note, it is a really good anime series with a huge fandom. The character that i've talked about is L.

          I dont know because i seriously cant stop watching that series. I think the main reason that I'm attracted to L is because he has the personality that i've always looked in someone but there's no person in the world with the same personality. I should just make some friends and go outside lol

            You know, in anime they always have that one character that everyone likes and is always right. If you carry the same expectations into the real world, you will be disappointed. Keep the anime in the anime, and live your life :)
