I really like the feel of things on my hands. Sometimes i find something that i simply really enjoy touching. I often carry paint/makeup brushes or tassels around and just run them over my hands and through my fingers or under my fingernails because it feels good and i find it soothing...
You just reminded me how good it feels to brush under your nails. So invigorating! Haven't done this for ages. I should get myself one of those brushes again.

I'm the same way. My papa had several different types of furs on his walls and my favorite was a mural of a bald eagle flying over mountains and it was made of rabitt furs dyed different colors and stitched together. It was divinely soft and I would stand next to the wall and pet it non-stop. I would do it for hours if I could, but my papa's wife would yell at me because the oils in my face in hands would ruin it. I still did it as much as possible, though. I miss it...
