Is it normal that i love a specific music genre that's from a foreign country?

I love Neue Deutsche Harte. For those wondering what the hell that is, it's a metal-like genre of music that originated in Germany. The band that's the most famous for it and pioneered it is Rammstein. I just love it. It's just an awesome blend of multiple metal and electronic-type music. I've listened to other bands that fall under the same genre and it feels an all-around "ear-gasm". Is it normal to love a genre so much there's like little to no songs that you find bad?

Hey, I'm an American but I still dig some of that European E(D)M - or electronic (dance) music - such as electro, techno, industrial, ambient, experimental noise, etc. more than some of this cheesy pop music that they now play over here in the USA. Come over and check out some of my favorite songs at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TechMechObject as soon as you can!

Lots of people from non-English speaking countries are huge fans of bands/artists from US, Canada, UK, etc. So of course it can go the other way. Listen to whatever music you like.

*sigh* Yes, it's normal to like music, even if it's made in a foreign country. I know, this sounds weird, but there are actually people who like foreign music. I couldn't even imagine how one could listen to it. Freaks.

    Yeah, pretty normal.
Do you speak German? I see a lot of youtube comments on German songs that say something like: "I have know Idea what it's about, but I love this song".
That's really sad because a lot of the lyrics, especially in German metal are the best, most hilarious part about it.
    I don't think I could ever really enjoy I song I don't understand.

For some reason I really like Scandinavian dance/electronic music. I don't have any particular favorite artist, but there are specific songs I like:

"Ligger Med Varandra" and "Sommardrom" by DJ Auzern

"Spelar Ingen Roll", "Har E Jag", "Vad Heter Du" and "Ooa Hela Natten" by Caramell (yes, the Caramelldansen band)

"DOTA" and "Boten Anna" by Basshunter

    "Aeblemand Kom Indenfor" by Creamy

"Dansa Till Var Sang" and "Ingen Ar Som Dig" by Wild Strawberrys
