Is it normal that i like to drip candle wax onto my skin?

The other day my bf caught me dripping hot candle wax onto myself and flipped out saying that I was going to set something on fire or really hurt myself. Aside form that, I noticed that dripping hot wax on to my skin doesn't really hurt but actually tickles. It's one of those things where I feel the nerve tingle and it turns me on. It got me thinking about how I could easily tie up my bf and drizzle wax all over his body. I guess it's the thought of someone helpless and in pain that turns me on. Is this a normal thought?

Pain kicks out endorphins which are pleasure triggers. It can be somewhat addictive.
    examples.
    "Hot" foods.
    Running.
Hard work-outs (tread-mills, "spinning", circuit training.
Contact sports (Football, hockey, rugby, etc.)
    tattoos
    Piercings
    you get the drift.

More than half the "battle" is understanding what is going on. It is up to you to decide if it is safe for you. If it becomes unsafe or injurious then you may need to face up and get support if you can't step away.
