Is it normal that i like talking to people but that's all ?

I don't want to do anything else with people, but I'm not antisocial. I just have no desire to be with them on a relationship level including friendship. I have no sexual drive, don't masturbate etc. i have no interests. I only do things so I don't waste my life, not because I enjoy it. I'm 25 and always been like this IIN?

    It's fine.

The only problem is, you will, eventually, meet someone you will develop a friendship with, and will have to go through the ups and downs of choosing friends wisely and how to be a good friend in general to those who deserve it. When it happens, just trust your gut feelings, and be thoughtful.

    • that's a nice thought, but I've always felt fake when I've been 'a good friend...to those who deserve it'. Like people want more than I feel like committing to. I just don't bother anymore because it always seems to end badly for them (they get attached but I don't as much).

Look up SPD, not saying to auto-diagnose yourself, but if you really feel like this, then that might be one reason.

    • Yeah I actually did look into that recently, it all fits except it seems like SPD don't have empathy or remorse but I think I do feel those at least sometimes

Just talking to them? Try adding some casual sex too!

There's nothing abnormal about it but what happens if you meet someone you want to get close to? Then what? Are you saying your just going to limit yourself to just talking?

    • It's been 25 years and I never have. I try to imagine getting close to someone, but I just can't see the point.
