Is it normal that (romantically) I like people who don't like me and persist on pursuing them and when someone likes me too much I don't like it either and thino less of them for liking me in the first place?

    Seems common, but i have no idea why. It really doesn't make sense and is pretty dumb reasoning.

    I really don't understand this philosophy. If somebody likes me, I would want to get to know them well enough to make an informed decision as to whether I like them, as people, not just by what they look like.
    If someone doesn't like me, for whatever reason, why would I waste my time on them?
    You sound very, very young and superficial. People are very rarely who you think they are by what they look like.
