Is it normal that i like guys but when they like me i feel uncomfortable?

I like guys (and im female) and usually when i like them (i dont tell them) but they usually like me back, or show signs of liking me back but i start to feel uncomfortable when they do, and i try to avoid them, but i still dream about them but its not the same... Is this normal?

    I'm like that but with women. It scares me because if they end up liking someone else it'd be even worse if they'd never liked me in the first place because it means that other guy is better :/

    I don't need anymore blows like that to my self esteem, it's low enough as it is.
