Is it normal that i like eating the burnt spices off my george foreman grill?

I grill meats with honey, garlic, and seasoned salt. Sometimes when I'm scraping the grill, I can't resist the urge to pick off the spicy dried chicken-y goodness and put it in my mouth. It's embarrassing to me even though I'm by myself. It's embarrassing to share it now, but sometimes I wonder if I have some sort of strange variety of pica.

This sounds like something I would do - if I had a George Foremen grill :( I can just imagine the concentration of flavour you get from it. Your seasoning sounds delicious btw. I like marinading chicken in soy sauce, honey and sesame. I'm hungry now.

I don't think that's so strange. If you cook with a wok, you're not supposed to clean it too much. You let a patina of previous meals build up and this seasons what you're currently cooking.

hehe, my first wok went manky because I put it in with the rest of the washing up. Then someone told me to just use hot water and kitchen roll.
