Is it normal that i lashed out on a random guy?

Well it was not my day today couldn't sleep at night because I kept waking up. This usually gets me cranky. I also had things on my mind stressing me out. So in school I went to get in line to eat lunch by myself since my friends were in the restroom. These group of freshmen guys, who I can tell are very immature and jerks, cut in front of me. It ticked me off but I kept my cool. Then one of the guys taps on my shoulder says that stupid line of "my friend thinks you're cute" with his group of friends laughing. I don't know why but I snapped and replied,"FUCK YOU!" He could feel my aggression, calmed down and turned back to his friends all of them thinking I was weird or something. I felt sort of guilty that I did that. I don't know why I lashed out like that. I guess how I was feeling overall and when a person does that.
is it normal to snap like this???
