Is it normal that i keep a book in which i write down everything i can?

I just started to write my second book. It's not a book with a real story but with a lot of thoughts which just came on me.

I also add everything that my life concerns for example what my customs are, what I want to do in my life or what I like and what I dislike. I do it because I want to perpetuate my life on paper and because I don't want my life to be (it feels like it) meaningless.

To counteract I'm trying to write down everything a human being on earth could think of this beautiful world and maybe showing other generations what former generations might have thought about typical situations in which they might will be if this is going to be read by somebody anyway.

I kind of feel the urge to write down everything that happens in my life so I write down every possible thought which feels important to me. Is this normal? I don't think of stopping this. I think, if my attitude will maintain, I'm going to write a lot of books in the next centuries.

It helps me to get clearer about the things I write down, about my life, about the events which happen around me and about the people I face everyday. I think I'm an introvert because I do think a lot and I often enjoy being by myself. Maybe it doesn't matter but I wanted to announce it at least.

Normal. I have many notebooks in my possession. The first wave were for drawings and the second wave has been for my ideas. The ideas range from book plots, VG plots, film plots, album concepts, songs, etc.
