Is it normal that i just want companionship with a silent person?

All I really care about deeply in people is love and companionship. I would be so very happy if I had a friend to do all the things I wanted to do, without needing to talk to fill the silence. Laughing and encouragement sometimes, but basically none of that useless conversation.
