Is it normal that i judge people for not understanding sarcasm?

I'm a very snarky guy, but usually in a lighthearted way. Most people get it and find me funny. But once in a while I'll come across a person who has zero sense of irony or sarcasm. They'll stare at me blankly or take my words literally. I don't know...I can't help but to feel a little pity for them. Or worse, I'll think they're not that intelligent.

An inability to understand sarcasm may be an early warning sign of brain disease. no sarcasm. Google it. Understanding it is also a sign of a greater intellect!

I would assume they are either autistic or just a bit dopey(which can be kind of cute, when someone takes a joke seriously).
That said I dislike sarcasm when people use it waaay too much. I like to pretend I am take them seriously sometimes. Almost anti-sarcasm (although I guess that comes back to being sarcasm in itself).
