Is it normal that i haven't entered my apartment in days because of a spider?

I saw 2 spiders in my single on-campus apartment. I hate spiders. So now I "sleep" at the library every night. Lack of sleep is catching up to me and I don't know what to do. There's no way in hell I can face my apartment. I only have one week until finals and I can move out (I will have people around to help). But I mean, really, how many of you are comfortable knowingly sleeping in a room with spiders in it?

    I have 6 tarantulas in my house, but couldn't sleep if they got out!!

    I would personally come and remove the spider for you myself because I'm in desperate need of one. I have three houseflies who are buzzing the hell out of my living room and every time I get them near a window, they change their mind and go straight back into the middle of the room.

      If you lower the temperature in the room enough they will drop like, well, like flies.

    Seriously? when ever I see a spide I leave it be or pick it up and fling it out my window or outthe door. Are you really going to risk your future because of a spider?

    Well you're pretty much harming yourself. I can understand two spiders is horrible but kill em yourself, a friend to do it, just someone at least! But if you are harming your health because of a spider, stop.

    I hate spiders. Don't you have a roomate who can take care of them? If not, get a carnivorous plant like a Venus Flytrap. Find instructions on how to care for them, because they're almost like pets and they need proper care. Good Luck!

    spiders suck i wouldnt have either got a nasty ass bite when i was really young tramatized me for life scared to death of the creepy little mother fuckers

    aha i found a big ass spider on my chest when i woke up scared the s#it outa me :o but i just sat up so it fell off and i picked it up (in my hand ) and put it on my window sill... there not too bad just dont make to much of a fuss over them and you wont worry about them too much

    Aww, I love spiders. If they are cute 'uns, I name them. Though one bit me, and get papped out, wee F**ker was not living in my house rent-free.

    get something like a trumpety loud thing. make loud noise all over yr room. not low pitched tho. under the bed in cupboard etc. noise kills them

      Loud noise kills spiders? Since when?! Centipedes kill spiders. So does my shoe and occasionally liquid from cans of compressed air when I freeze and asphyxiate them because I am too lazy to chase them.

        well...once i opened a drawer and there was a big spider on the side and i screamed (it was near my hand) it scuttled back into the cavity. i left the drawer on the floor and looked in 15 minutes later and the spider was dead.

    Talk to a neighbour, family or the floor manager.. If youre that scared of spiders though, life's gonna be rough.
