Is it normal that i have little sympathy for poor people?

Over the years I've met many poor people in my life. With some exceptions, they have majoratively had one common trait; very low personal standards. They tend to be the type to have little drive. They tend to blame others for their problems and tend to be lazy. Yet society tells us to pity and coddle these types of people. Why? Most of them, are poor because they just don't seem to understand that they have to work for something better than they have without the handout of others.

Your right. Cunts are wonderful things. There's so much you can do with them. How about maggot ridden anal cavity?

That's yukky but I'd prefer it to using the word cunt as an insult

    You're Eric Trump, right?

"They tend to blame others for their problems and tend to be lazy."

This made me think of your daddy.

Probably kills Rhino's for fun. He wants to be the first to make them extinct.

There are so many uncontrollable parameters to determine one's likelihood of future wealth, or lack there of. It is hard to begin to list here. It is much easier to aknowlege statistical future wealth indicators: access to education, social status, inherited capital.

  • People are not homeless because they're lazy you donkeys ass

    • I would agree. Homeless people are often mentally ill and this is something beyond their control. I didn't day everyone who is poor, did I? The people I am talking about are the ones who have no mental illness and no reason for being poor other than the fact that they have low standards and want to blame their shortcomings on the rich and hard working. This is about 70% in my experience.

When I turned 18 I had nothing. My mother gave me a very heartfelt going away present; a box containing $50, two bottles of wine, and a bus ticket to anywhere I wanted to go. My first apartment had electricity but no light bulbs.

Fast forward 20 years... I own my own home which my wife and I literally built by hand. We aren't rich by any means but no one ever gave us a hand out. We drive fairly nice cars and have a little room to roam on our property. How did we both come from nothing to something and wind up pulling ourselves out of abject poverty? We didn't accept the idea that our problems were because of someone else. We didn't wear our early poverty like a suit of pity. Does anyone here understand what I'm saying? You will never have anything if you sit there and expect every thing to be handed to you without having to work for it. Have you ever heard a rags to riches story where the protagonist said "pity me and give me free money and food"? No.
Dome people can't do any better and I understand that. How can a person with an iq of 60 get out of poverty? They cant and we all know that. Can a person with schizophrenia make a million, dollars? Not likely. Can a person with severe arthritis and a really bad case of psoriasis become millionaire? Actually, yes, they can. My former boss did in the the oilfields of north Dakota. Look, the only thing I'm saying is that if I have a fucked up back, a diagnosis of moderate to severe crohns disease, arthritis, migraines, and a lot of neglect and abuse by two lazy assed parents, then I figure that some lazy assed bitch on the welfare line should think about what people like my wife, me and so many other people put out every day so that they can live without putting forth any effort on their part.

Where I live, the welfare line, the unemployment line, and the and the employment line are all in the same building. Guess which line is longest.

Go ahead. Sit in your taxpayer funded warm, cozy apartment. Call me a cunt . call me Eric trump. A fuck knuckle. Even a donkeys ass. Then go swing a hammer and turn a wrench in -32 degree weather in the oilfields and enjoy your comfort at the expense of my work. Sleep well while I'm cold and not sure how much longer I can keep going and paying your bills. Good night.

Now you guys are afraid to comment, aren't you?

      • Poverty doesn't just end when you tell a homeless person to pull themselves up by their own boot straps, some people have good jobs and then are suddenly fired because their boss didn't want to pay them anymore, sometimes it's because of drug addiction, and sometimes things are just too expensive for what they're being paid. To say most are pitying themselves or are not mentally sound is just plain stupid.
(Side note your Mother HELPED you by giving you money and a bus ticket so I wouldn't say you entirely picked yourself up)

And it was easier back then to "pick yourself up" than it is now, with the high cost of housing & utilities and low wages

        • Fucking what???? Are you fucking serious??? Number 1, my mother gave me that money from, her welfare check and it certainly wasn't to,help me. It was to get rid of me because she couldn't get a check for me anymore. Second, I'm not talking about good hard working people who fall on hard times. In talking about people who consistently live off of other peoples sweat and tears and for some bizarre reason don't understand that they have no right to keep living off of the government's (taxpayers) money. We all need help tome to time, or at least need a door opened for us, but welfare and section 8 were designed to be a help up, not a career choice. Why am I such an asshole for condescending on people who have low standards?

Tell you what... give 11% of your next paycheck to a welfare recipient for two or 3 weeks in a row. Ill bet it's only a matter of time before they show up at your door asking for more help. If you never help them at all, they will quickly find a way to provide for themselves.
Put out a nectar pod for hummingbirds. Notice that they keep coming back for the free nectar and stop foraging the countryside for their own. Then take the nectar away. Look around your neighborhood and notice how many dead hummingbirds you see. Think about it.

Its not that poor people are lazy. Its just they're not doing the things that will make them the most money.

    Big difference here.

I bet there are some poor people who work harder than some rich people, working two jobs out there just to support their family.

    Thats dedication damnit.

I also worked my ass off to get what I have and I have a lot! I also give to those who don't. Every now and again to the "homeless" bum that probably isn't really homeless or a bum.

The sad truth is some people are dirt poor and it's not easy for them like it is for others to get out of it. I'm talking families. I feel bad for them, but not usually single people who are young and need to learn the cost of a dollar.

When people are given the option to work and make maybe 500 bucks a week or take the government check which pays them 800, I really can't blame them for sponging. It's our own fault. It's the ones we elect and the policies they allow.
It's because we allow people to take advantage of the system. We allow both citizens and non citizens of this country to collect our money we work for and can't question it or we're the bad guys.

    • It goes back to the hummingbird example I mentioned earlier in this post. Enable people to be dependent on others and they begin to see it as a normal way of getting what they need and lose their survival skills.

I think all those making less than $40,000 a year should be executed by military firing squad. Trump should authorize this. Just leave enough of them left to work as lowly paid servants. All blacks will become human slaves again of course. All Mexicans and white liberals should be deported, left to fend for themselves behind the wall. Yes?

      • I most certainly DO have a heart. I have a lot of heart for the people who work themselves into an early grave while the weak who make painfully bad life decisions and take advantage of hard working people and abuse the system and take advantage of the work of others. Yeah, I'm a bad guy.
