Is it normal that i have hilarious thoughts of people getting killed.

I've heard of intrusive thoughts, but that's not what I have exactly, I wouldn't call them intrusive, since I vastly enjoy them. Anything involving me killing people, other people killing people is hilarious to me, and has been since I was little. Just hearing the words "serial killer" typically makes me burst into a fit of laughter because of the connotations the words bring with it, and I love that. I love gore, blood, but mostly just the actual act of someone being killed has always been funny to me.

Psychopathy is diagnosed by specialists, usually of psychiatry, when certain criterion are met in the presenting patient in a clinical setting. The determination comes from analysis of the subject and comparison to other subjects. The tool used to assist the psychiatrist is called the Diagnotic and Statistical Manual - or the DSM. Random thoughs of killing do not necessarily mean someone is a psychopath, and certainly a person using this site has no valid creditials to make that determination based on a very short post. Thanks for playing the know-it-all game. You just lost.

It was a throw away remark. I didn't say psychopath either, I know strictlySspeaking psycho is an abbreviation but I was using it more in a slang sense
I wasn't trying to diagnose the OP that would be silly maybe even more silly than you have been getting wound up by my post and then replying to it ;)

are you attempting to use the term psycho as an insult? most high ranking authorities have some form of psychopathic or sociopathic problem, actually it's known that people like that usually are more intelligent than an average person.

sorry pal, psycho doesn't work as an insult unless you're complimenting someones intelligence or manipulation techniques.

It wasn't meant as an insult, read what I said again. It was a statement, and surely true.

oh, my mistake then. i'm not sure if OP could be classed as a psycho/sociopath though, as some people with that illness don't actually want to kill anyone, they just have problems socializeing and fitting in due to their lack of emotion.

I would say that is not normal. Unless they are thoughts of killing people that have done something wrong, and also if you have no plans of ever turning those thoughts into actions, however not normal, I see nothing wrong with it in that case.

As long as you don't act on it or speak of it with true intention, you are simply one of the many people infatuated with gore and death. Zombie fans unite! The unqualified individual who assumed you are a psychopath has just proved his/her opinion to be invalid based on a lack of general knowledge, and this is common among teenagers and 20 somethings who think they know how the world works, but they really only know how their phone works... and not much else.
