Is it normal that i have a strong "maternal" instinct even though i'm a guy?

I've always loved children and have always been good dealing with them and they seemingly like me back and I often fantasise about having children of mine and even about "giving birth" (never had disphorya or watever it is called and never wanted to be a woman though)

      It's not that I wish I had a womb or something but rather wanting to be part of the process of bringing up a child since day one

    Except the "giving birth" part, your feelings just sound like wanting that parental love any mom or dad would have for their children.
