Is it normal that i have a slight tightness in my chest?

Okay so this started a week or so ago. I usually am standing up straight and my chest feels tight, almost as if it's being weighed down. It doesn't hurt, but it feels uncomfortable and it is slightly difficult to breathe. Right now I am experiencing it and I am laying down. I feel like a small object is on my chest an pressing on my ribs. I am very young and not overweight. I don't smoke or do any drugs that aren't prescribed to me by a doctor, though I do eat carelessly (if that is necessary to know. If not then carry on my wayward son). It's not a huge concern at the moment, but I feel as if it might get worse. My heart or areas around it do hurt when I lean to the left side also. Does anyone know what could be going on?

I'm no professional, but sound more like a psychological thing.

Only if I start to get scabs around my private area that I then begin to worry about my chest.

Tightness might be a sympton of heart attack or just plain "farts" xD I suggest you immediately go to the hospital RIGHT NOW so you can see if everythings ok with your heart. Good luck and i hope you're well!

i've run for years. walked. hiked. i liked to run, i enjoyed it. i had a tightness in my chest at times too. turns out its asthma or maybe allergies. i inhale something called a preventer every morning for asthma. i also have albuterol for asthma, but don't use it. i also take generic zyrtec or claritin. zyrtec and claritin are way more expensive than the generic.
