I'm deathly afraid of being kidnapped or drugged and sold into the sex trade or forced labor. No I'm not black, I'm actually Asian (Vietnamese born in the US). I also have a Jamacian friend and he has this fear too. Are we normal and do others fear this situation happening?
Yes. You two should learn how to defend yourselves. Take some marital arts classes, get a gun, carry a knife, etc.
I don't think it's normal to have that fear, but if you think it likely that might happen to you, maybe you should get yourself "chipped" like people do with their pets. Then if you disappear you can be located.
Yes I have that fear too. Idk where you live I live in america but in a couple towns over this girl was sold into slavery by her friends. They admitted to it when they were questioned. They never found the girl though.
Some "friends" they were! Can you believe some people?! That's scary. It reminds me of The Prince of Egypt sequel,"Joseph, King of Dreams". He was considered the miracle child and his father obviously favoured him more than his brothers. His brothers grew to hate him and sold him into slavery.
Yeah I am like that too, but I was drugged and raped a couple times before. Shit happens, when you go out keep your hand on the top of your drink when your talking to people. And try to go with people you know, just becareful they don't rape you happens. Hell when I was kid I even had this older girl take advantage. So just educate yourself on different situations.
What does not being black have to do with it? ಠ_ಠ Last time I checked anyone could get picked up and shipped off to a foreign country, or even right in your own home town. You'd be surprised.
