Is it normal that i have a huge crush on a guy living in another country

i'm a girl & about a year ago i joined this cool networking site and me and this guy started got along so well like bestfriends we like the same music, we get each other's jokes we would talk for hours then i developed a crush on him & found myself reading into things like he said this so it must mean that & i kinda became distant well virtually anyway, & i'd stop replying him coz i felt i was being annoying
he would always talk to me goodnight texts & all that but i think he felt that i didn't care because he was the one that always put in the effort while i was playing it cool coz i didn't want to give it away that i liked him & now we barely talk. i probably sound like such a loser but is it normal?

    im falling for a boy in greece. im in usa..... he's younger than me but we're close and i dont wanna tell him because he might not love me the way i love him but he acts as though he could have feelings for me as well..

    There is nothing abnormal about that. When your communicating with a person online you are learning about them as a person, rather than being sucked in by physical aspects. There have been several girls in different online forums, including this one, that I have noticed having a personality that matches up with mine well. I don't ever do anything about it because I have a fiance, as well as these not being web forums with the purpose of dating. But if you don't have those two things holding you back, let him know how you feel! Worse case scenario is you get friend zoned by a guy in another country, at least you don't work with him and have to see him everyday after that!

      haha tell him how i feel never :P I'd never be able to go on that site & socialize again & i'm an old fashioned gal i'd never make the first move haha but worst case scenairo would be he dosen't feel the same way which i suspect he does not. verdict is i'm just gonna let sleeping dogs lie & pray to find someone like him in terms of compatibility but dayumm did he get me & what i'm about.

            Well than I can't help you out very much on that one. I'm from south Missouri, so international relationship would be a MUCH bigger issue, seeing as how I have to drive thousands of miles just to see another country!
