Is it normal that I fucking hate when people are nosey and stick their face in my food to see what I'm eating.
I think it's unbelievably rude to get so close to someone's dinner like that. I go through the trouble of either buying or making something awesome to eat, and my roommate walks in the kitchen and puts his face in my food (not literally) but really close and asks what I'm eating and says how good it looks. I'm saying to myself...'fuck off and leave me alone. It's not my fault you eat shitty frozen meals every night'.

is it normal that I think this is ridiculously rude???

    Ewwwww. If I wanted to eat their breate, I'd dip my food in their mouth first. Stab the bastard with a fork in the head and be like oops, I didn't realize your cranium was hovering over my plate of yum yum.

      Well i appreciate your shared frustration with the matter. Theres alot of times i wish i could stab someone with my fork but damnit! I would get man handled in jail so... IDK
      The actuall person that sparked my interest in this discussion has since been a bit more conciderate of my mealtimes but we'll see if it lasts.

          Thanks babe. The problem is, this person is far from being the only one that does this. I mean, most times when someone passes by me who is not eating while I am eating, the "nosey" situation comes up time after time. It bugs me so much that I make a conscious effort to not do it myself.

          Sorry I needed to vent a little more.

            More people do it??? What the frig is with people! That's just wrong. Now I'm going to be aware of this is I ever see it. It will piss me off. Its cold and flu season damn it!!

    Fuck that sounds annoying! Grrr! I don't like rude people in general. I already feel uncomfortable if someone watches me eat. Its creepy.

    I hate that too. If my dog does it then that's understandable, but people who do it are being obnoxious!
    Maybe, you could cook your food at a friend's house and it there or just eat your food in privacy:)

      I wish I could. Technically I could but I don't like the idea of eating in my bedroom. #1 because of bugs/ants/roaches ...and #2 it's just not as relaxing to eat on your lap and not on a proper table with a nice beverage and napkins and whatever.

      So, I have to live with a classless douche for a little while longer. I guess I'll live. Of coarse this one guy will absolutely not be the last person to do this but at least I'll be a little more prepared to handle a stressful situation like this when it come up again.

    I don't like people to look at me when I eat, but maybe that's another thing entirely.

    Anyway, yes, being peeved about other people 'undressing your food' with their eyes is pretty normal.
