Is it normal that i hate the way our government is?

In the US, we go by a bipartisal party: the Democrats (liberals) and the Republicans (Conservatives). There's also the Libertarians and Independents. Well, I think this form of government is faulty and stupid. Why? Because voting only gives you 2 choices (more often than not poor ones) and when you do vote, the whole thing's already rigged making any vote you cast pointless.

What can we do about it? Change the system. Overthrow the government and build a new system- by the people, for the people. A system in which there is no "Big Government", President, Socialism, Capitalism, Monarchy, Democracy, or a Republic. In this new system, people are to become completely independent, build up their independent communities, and go by their own personal rules/limits with only the families' rules effecting one another-but there's no government involved.

    It's not the system, it's those abusing the system that make it intolerable. There was never any intent that politicians should make a career of it. They served their one or two terms, then went back to their normal occupations, so there was no profit motive in serving. Crooks and lobbyists couldn't survive if the politicians only served in congress a short time.
    Once you make politics a career, then it is no longer a government of the people, but a government of those in power.
    A clean sweep of all political jobs and new elections of citizens as originally intended, would go a long way to restoring the system as originally designed.

      Exactly, thats why the U.S. should do like the Cayman Islands 2 year term of service then your out. Make them face the monsters they create.

    "Our government" ? I love how americans assume everyone else is american and they can just refer to everything and everyone else around them as american.

      This is anAmerican site and the majority of the population is American. I don't understand why you're taking it as a chance to be personally insulted and attack.

      I'm only talking about Americans (The people here in the US). I'm not talking about foreigners overseas or across the borders north and south of us.
