Is it normal that i hate selfies?

I hate selfies, I hate to see people's selfies, I hate dumb selfies, even beautiful selfies are dump to me, and the worst of them all is selfies which are taken in a bathroom or front of a mirror.

I do take pictures of me (with my laptop camera, I don't know but it looks less dumb, maybe because almost your whole body is visible), but I mostly rather to let other people take photos of me, especially when I'm out, it seems for me more professional, more realistic and most importantly less silly or dumb.

This is how I feel about selfies all the time and I probably will never want change it, but I'm just expressing my opinion here and want to see what other people think of this whole concept of "selfies".

      It's a laptop selfie, I've stated how I feel about that before.

      I don't think I can elaborate more honestly, I hardly put these thoughts in words 'cause I never thought I can describe exctaly how I feel, or why I feel like that about selfies.

        I too dislike selfies. Bathroom selfies are the lamest, most dumbest thing girls do. "Oooh, like omg, im liek sooo h0t rite now #sexy" with a toilet as a background!
        Really sexy... really classy... you fail at failing.

        I don't like being in selfies. Lots of girls like to take selfies with someone. Why do that? Surely someone can take a picture of both of you. The picture will be better and you don't look like narcissists.
        I hate it even more, when the person taking a selfie exclaims it, like it's something important. Such people deserve to have their phone/ camera taken away forever, possibly sold off somewhere for quick profit XD.
        But it's a thing that's getting even more popular, so I try to gloss over it. Well done for disliking selfies. Now, if you say you listen to rock/ metal, I'll give you a big hug and salute you XD

        But it's still a selfie...Not being a dick or anything, I don't think there's anything wrong with them, but yours still is a selfie, just taken by a different device with the same purpose.

          You're not being a dick. I never said it's not a selfie, it is a selfie but it still looks different than a selfie which is taken by a cell phone, and that's what I despise and find so silly.

    I don't see what could possibly be so offensive about selfies. They seem so innocuous. I have no idea why they are a point of contention for some people. The attitude seems so snobbish.

    Alrighty, time to denounce this OCD practice right? No more selfies. In protest, you may only post your picture if it has been oil painted by a master artist. That would look awesome. No one does this!

    I would rather my photo be taken by someone else or on my laptop, then to do a "selfie" (UGH! I HATE THAT TERM!). It strikes me as being narcissistic.

    You're still taking selfies. Just on a laptop. Yeah, I hate them too except mine. My selfies are top notch. Nah. Idk why people care so much about others taking photos of themselves.

    I don't see the need to be constantly taking pictures of oneself, unless you're bored, especially at conferences. People get so excited over it, which annoys me, especially when they bully me into joining them.

    I despise the word "selfie". It's a cutesey neologism that doesn't indicate any meaning except for "something one does to themselves". So, I suggest we ask the dimwits at the dictionary companies to change the meaning to something else one does to themselves, let's say, fucking, and on top of that, to politely ask them to demonstrate the new definition by properly fucking themselves.

          There is said to be more activity in the areas pf the brain that are wrinkly. The more wrinkles your brains got, the more activity is said to be involved. Judging by your fancy vocabulary, it dosent just indicate your tryin' to picknup the ladies, it also indicates more wrinkles..
