Is it normal that i hate it when people use the word "healthy" inappropriately?

The title I wanted to use was "is it normal that I hate it when people use the words "healthy" and "non-fattening" interchangeably?", but the character count wouldn't let me.

I have absolutely no trouble burning off the energy I intake, and thus no reason to avoid foods high in fat or calories. There is nothing inherently unhealthy about a cheeseburger or a non-light beer, so the term should not be used for such things. An unhealthy food is one that contains substances that are harmful to the human body, period.

Exactly. Combine this with tellmeimwrong's answer and you've pretty much nailed it. Obesity is not the only negative side effect of unhealthy foods.

Junk, or unhealthy foods are foods high in calories that lack nutritional value, like cheese burgers or alcohol. You're wrong on this one, sorry.

Not everything that is non-fattening is healthy, but everything that is properly healthy is non-fattening.

I hate when people say healthy instead of healthful. A carrot is not healthy, it is dead. A carrot is indeed healthful though.

There is something inherently unhealthy about a cheeseburger, whether you like it or not. Healthy doesn't only apply to weight.

I think it's normal that you hate it. Healthy food is REAL food, unhealthy food is FAKE food.

I get what you mean. I get annoyed with things that get labeled "organic" and people think that means healthy. Eating pounds of butter isn't magically better for you just because it's organic.

It might be unhealthy but that does not mean that you cant eat it without gaining weight if you dont eat it everyday that is. Also some light products are actually more unhealthy than non-light products.
